Siwa Lima Museum is a museum which was established on 8 November 1973 but it was only inaugurated on March 26, 1977. Museum Shiva Five is administratively located in the village of Amahusu, District Nusaniwe, Ambon, Maluku province lies precisely in the area of Taman Makmur. The museum is located on a hill directly facing Ambon Bay that makes it so closely. The distance from the city of Ambon is 5 kilometers.

At first the Siwa Lima Museum just keep things smelling customs and collections of cultural objects Maluku, but now with the passage of time the museum is divided
into two parts. Sections / first building often referred to as the Marine Museum Siwalima. The building is storing maritime history Ambon residents consisting of objects and marine animals. One example which is displayed as a whale skeleton that has a long variety of one example that big size is the size of 23 meters.


Furthermore, the second building is often referred to as Siwalima Cultural Museum. In the second building holds all things related to the culture of Maluku, such as custom clothing, the original building Maluku, Maluku typical weapon, old money, farming tools, equipment traditional ceremonies, and various jars in the Japanese colonial period.
